Ticketing and Reports

October 27, 2020 By Bryce Bilello

It is known that there is power in numbers and here at Agile Ticketing Solutions we also believe that is true, especially when it comes to reporting. The analytics you can find in our reporting features will help you better understand your ticketing operations as well as where your organization stands financially. The Agile Ticketing Solutions web-based reporting module covers every department of your organization. From box office and concessions to membership and merchandising, our accounting and reporting feature delivers a comprehensive view of an organization’s health, all from one central location and all in real time.

Auto-Syndicate Reporting

Our reporting module has the necessary tools to provide leadership with accurate, up-to-date information at any given moment. With our auto-syndicate feature, ticketing specialists can choose the reports that matter most to their organization’s leadership and automatically send those reports to individuals or groups.

Agile Ticketing Solutions is an all-in-one ticketing system that changes the game for organizations like your own. Since reporting is a key element to better understand your ticketing operations, we wanted to share a few of our favorite reports in our system.

  • Daily Audit (Accounting) – This report allows you to keep track of all sales daily, including memberships, ticket sales, donations and concessions/merchandise.
  • Organization Audit (Accounting) – This report gives you a deeper look into your sales summary which includes details on sales channels and buyer types.
  • Membership Usage Analysis (Memberships) – This report will give you an inside look at the who, what, where, when and how often your patrons are using their memberships. It will also show you what level or type of membership each patron has.
  • Top Ticket Buyers (Events) – This report is one of our favorites because it allows you to see who has bought tickets to your events. This information could let you know who to thank for their support each time they visit your venue. It’s important to remember that the patrons who frequent your theater often are great supporters and could be willing to donate.
  • Sales by State, City, MSA (Sales) – See where your customers live. This is a really cool report especially if you are using the AgileLINK streaming service, to see if people outside your local area are supporting your theater.

Tips for Working at Home

April 23, 2020 By Bryce Bilello

Tips on Working Remotely and Keeping the Company Connected

During this pandemic, many organizations have no choice but to work remotely for the time being. While working remotely may not seem as productive as working together in person, it does not have to be that way. There are many ways to utilize the remote strategy in order to be very productive and keep your organization connected. Here are our tips on working at home and keeping your organization as connected as possible.

Have a Routine

The first of our working at home tips is to stick with a specific routine. We recommend having daily company meetings through a video communication software, even if just a brief update with each other. While communicating is easy through email and messaging, having a meeting through video gives a face-to-face interaction that will help your organization stay connected in a more personal way. Along with a daily meeting, we recommend keeping to a similar schedule to how you operate in normal circumstances. This will give you a sense of normalcy, and help you push through the unusual circumstances.

Utilize Shared Documents

Another suggestion is to utilize shared documents that can allow multiple workers to look at and edit at once. It can be complicated to keep track of what projects each individual is working on in your organization. It can also be a hassle to get things sent to each other in a timely and coordinated manner. A great way to fix this is to use shared documents, which can be done through websites such as Office365 and Google Drive. This allows everyone to know the current updated document and see who is currently making edits.

Be Transparent

Lastly, it is very important to be as transparent as possible with other members of your organization in your day-to-day activates. Working remotely can be successful, but a drawback is the decreased amount of in-person collaboration that can be done. Therefore, you should clearly define what each member needs to be working on. If everybody is aware of and understands their assigned responsibilities, it will be easier to get work done more smoothly. At the same time, remember to always communicate with each other to make sure everybody is on the same page.

Information on How To Apply for Government Funding

Information on How To Apply for Government Funding

Here at Agile Ticketing Solutions we are working endlessly to try and make it easy for our clients to function during the changes being made across the world. As of this week, the government has issued funding that your organization can apply for to help bridge the gap during this time of uncertainty.

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) offers loans with long-term repayments, and the SBA’s Economic Injury Disaster Loans offer up to $2 million in assistance. These loans are made specifically for businesses who have been affected by closures due to COVID-19. Loans are at a very low interest rate, and are for working capital that small businesses can take advantage of if they are suffering during this time. For more information please see links below or visit www.sba.gov.

For information on area’s that are eligible for SBA Disaster Loans click here.

Projects to Work on While Your Organization is Closed

March 20, 2020 By John Lemon

Projects to work on While Your Organization is Closed

Now is the time to be working on all the things that your organization has been putting off due to time. Organizations all across the world are being forced or recommended to close until further notice. As there is no official date where everything should be back to normal, many are uncertain what they should be doing in the meantime. Here are some recommendations on what your organization can be working on until they reopen.

One very important thing to utilize at this time is your social media accounts. Your patrons will be wondering how this situation is affecting your organization. It is important to keep everyone informed and updated with what is going on at your organization. As closing will no doubly have a negative effect on revenue, social media is a good place to bring this attention to your patrons. You can let people know the economic implications of the shutdown, which can possibly result in donations or other sources of temporary revenue. Also, with more people at home they are more likely to be online and on social media. This is a good opportunity to both give updates and to also advertise your organization to more people.

As this pandemic is going to affect many industries for a while, it is important to conduct research. This can include research on how ticket sales will be affected with months to come. Theaters should also look at which movies will be delaying releases, and how many productions are being postponed. If you had a current schedule lined up, it unfortunately will be affected, and this is a good time to get a head start on making changes.

Another task to focus on during this time is to keep up to date on anything needed for tax season. If there is any work you have been holding off on, now is the time to complete it. It may be a difficult time to work on any repairs and renovations due to the circumstances. However, if there are any changes that can realistically be made, no matter how minor, this would also be a good time to think about following through with them, as the properties will be vacant and available.

Lastly, keep in constant touch with your employees, and make sure they know what is going on. Assure them that they will be taken care of as best as possible. Do anything you can to consistently update them, and reduce any anxiety they may be facing from this situation.

How to Grow and Utilize Your Social Media

Tips from the Agile Marketing Team

How to Grow Your Social Media Followers, and Retain Your Followers

Social media is continuing to be a growing factor in how organizations market to their consumers. More and more people are joining social media, and it is only going to keep growing. It is important for organizations to grow and utilize their social media accounts to inform and interact with their consumers.

Creating Your Social Media Accounts

The first step to grow and utilize your social media is to create the accounts. It is very beneficial to have social media accounts in every major social media channel, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube. Having a username that is short and clear will avoid confusion. For example, make sure to simply use your organization’s name if it is available, without any other numbers/characters. This will make it easy for people to search and find your account. If your organization’s name is similar to another organization, add a word that clearly distinguishes it.

How/Where to Promote Your Social Media

Once you have social media accounts made and are dedicated to utilizing it, you should promote your accounts. Promote each social media account to your current active customers and to anyone who may be interested in the organization. Make it clear to your customers where your organization can be found on social media. Any advertisement made should include a spot for social media promotion, even if it is very small. While you want to make sure people are aware of your social media accounts, it is also important not to overdo it. Consistently being reminded about something can be an annoyance and can turn off customers from the organization.

How to
Utilize Your Organization’s Social Media

Once you successfully grow followers on your social media channels, it is important to continue to keep their interest. To do this, utilize your social media by creating engaging and informative posts that grab their attention. Hashtags are a great way for people to discover your posts and potentially follow you, while also grouping your posts with other posts that relate to them. Also, you should keep your social media posts very short and concise, staying on topic. The longer you make a post, the less likely a follower scrolling through will read the entire thing. This may result in missing critical information you want to spread. Also, interact with your followers as much as you possibly can. If anyone messages or tags your organization, responding enthusiastically in a timely manner will create happy customers.

How to Keep Your Followers and Prevent Unsubscribing/Unfollowing

Another thing to keep in mind is that follows on social media are not permanent, and it is just as easy to lose a follower as it is to gain one. It is extremely common for people to lose interest in a social media account, which leads to them unfollowing /unsubscribing. To avoid this as much as possible, make sure to consistently be active online and active. Inactivity is one of the main reasons that users unfollow accounts, so it is important to not give off that impression. On the other hand, it is also important to refrain from posting too often where someone may find it annoying. If you are covering someone’s feed with posts, especially if they do not find them relevant relevant, they are likely to unfollow you.
