Windows 7 Operation Notice

March 2, 2020 By John Lemon

Windows 7 Operation Notice

As of January 14, 2020, Microsoft will be ending extended support for Windows 7, and security updates will no longer be available for PCs running this operating system. If you continue to use Windows 7 after support has ended, your PC will still work, but it may become more vulnerable to security risks and viruses. Your PC will continue to start and run, but Microsoft will no longer provide the following support for your business.

– No technical support

– No software updates

– No security updates

For organizations still running Windows 7, the Agile Ticketing Solutions’ technology team strongly suggests updating your PCs and POS terminals with the newer operating system, Windows 10. The Agile Ticketing application will still run on your PC after the above date, but we will end support for running the application on this unsupported operating system in June 2020. If you need assistance with updating your PCs or POS terminals, we will be happy to help.

Contact our support team at support@agiletix.com to find out what options are available for updating or upgrading your equipment.

Creating a Successful Loyalty Program

How to Create a Successful Loyalty Program

A loyalty program is a great way for an organization to create and engage loyal customers. They can offer perks and benefits if people join and consistently return to the organization. The goal of the loyalty program should be to offer an opportunity to join for an exclusive access to benefits. The perks and benefits should include enough elements that make the customer feel satisfied and important. However, they should not offer too much where they benefit the customer more than the organization itself. Below are some of our tips on creating a successful loyalty program for your organization.

How to Market Your Loyalty Program

Repeatedly stress the ways in which the loyalty program will benefit the customer. An already loyal customer of the organization will find the program valuable, as they will save money and receive perks on something they regularly participate in anyways. On the other hand, a casual customer will see it as an incentive to return, making them more satisfied while also improving business.

When creating a successful loyalty program, you should consistently remind people about the program. People signing up equally benefits for your organization as it does the customers . You can remind people about the program through the organization’s website, on posters/signs in the venue, or from employees themselves. Another way to quickly convince people to sign up is to offer a one-time incentive. If a customer is initially offered a free prize or an extra perk, they are more likely to join.

What Types of Perks/Benefits Should be offered?

The perks and benefits offered through the loyalty program largely depends on the organization. Some organizations may be able to afford more impressive benefits, while others may be more limited. It also depends on the type of organization, and what kinds of benefits they are able to offer. However, there are many types of benefits that most organizations can realistically offer. These include discounts on any product/service, priority access to services, invitations to special events, waived fees, free monthly giveaways, and more.

Ways to Reach Your Target Market

Ways to Effectively Reach Your Target Market

With any growing organization, attracting new customers is one of the key factors leading to ongoing success. It is as important as ever to determine who you are trying to market to, as specifically as possible. Specifying a target market will allow you to create a marketing plan that is directed to that group, which then you can convince that group to invest in your organization. Once you know who your target market is, you need to figure out how to reach that market through your marketing efforts. Below are some helpful tips on how to determine and reach your target market.

Who is Your Target Market?

Before you decide which marketing techniques will best serve your organization, it is important to figure out who your target market is.

DEMOGRAPHICS

The demographics of your market are the characteristics of the individuals that make up your target market. It should focus on the demographics that show the most interest in your organization. Common demographics include age, gender, geographical location, income, and occupation.

Other key factors to pay attention to include the types of personalities who tend to be drawn to your organization, the types of events they tend to be interested in, and the types of memberships they tend to join. Once you can figure out the different characteristics that make up your market, you can identify which marketing strategy to use to reach your target market.

Ways to Reach Your Target Market

One effective way of reaching your target market is to create different campaigns focusing on different sectors of the market. For example, if you have customers in many age ranges, you can create a campaign that reaches just one age range. You can then create another campaign that reaches a different age range. Specifically targeting a certain demographic can more effectively catch that demographic’s interest.

Using GEO-TARGETING to Reach Your Target Market

Another way to advertise to certain people is by geotargeting. Geotargeting is when ads are made to only be shown to people within certain geographical locations. For example, there may certain geographical locations where people tend to be more interested in your organization. If so, you can use different techniques to only show your ads to those locations. You may also find that certain locations respond better to different types of advertisements. If this is the case you can also create unique advertisements for each location.

Using REMARKETING to Reach Your Target Market

Remarketing is another effective way to reach your target customers. When marketing online, many times people click on your advertisement but do not make a final purchase. With remarketing, you can reach out to these people later on, and try to get them to make the purchase. As these are people who are potentially interested in the organization, it is important to focus on them. Many online tools can track who visits your website, and can then send more advertisements to that person. This can remind them about the organization in case they want to go back and make that purchase. Not only can remarketing lead to more traction, but it can give key characteristics of the people who are interested in your organization.

Tips from the Agile Ticketing Solution’s Marketing Team

The Power of Collaboration

You are probably familiar with the term, collaboration. But do you know all of the ways collaborations can help your organization grow? This is one of the fastest-growing marketing techniques used today. If you have had trouble reaching your intended target audience or your engagements are low on social media, this may be a way for you to turn around your social game. Yes- we understand, social marketing can get overwhelming with all the different strategies you can implement. Luckily, we’ve got you covered! Keep reading to learn more!

Why should my organization run joint social media campaigns?

Running a joint social media campaign, such as a giveaway, opens up the possibility of a high return and the ability to serve your audience. Giveaways can allow your organization to thank its supporters by picking a winner and giving them, for example, a VIP experience at your theater or event. Collaborations can look different depending on your industry. Let’s go ahead and talk about strategies that you can take when adopting joint campaigns into your marketing strategy. It all start’s by taking the first step into building a relationship with another organization.

How to develop an organization-to-organization relationship.

Now you understand the value of a joint campaign and the opportunity within, it’s time to talk to start taking steps towards initiating the conversation with the potential organization you are interested in collaborating with. The best way to do this is to start small and organically explore the opportunities in your industry. Each industry will have space for your organization to share and work with another organization.

We have provided you a guideline for how this conversation may look.

Reach out to a non-competing organization in your industry and schedule a meeting to discuss how you might be able to benefit from each other.

Explain that you’re looking for more ways to provide your audience great, engaging content and you think your organizations might be able to work together to help each reach each individual’s goals. Be honest about your organization’s goals and challenges, and ask them to be honest about theirs.

Examples of different kinds of collaborations:

Community:

A great place to start looking for potential collaborations is right in your backyard. When it comes to your local community the possibilities are endless. For example, plan a block party where a bunch of local businesses together and celebrate each other. Another great idea is to have a local ice cream parlor come to table as a vendor at your organization. Maybe even have an event for families and kids. The goal is to build a big-picture strategic partnership that allows you to share customers and opportunities over the long-term.

Social Media:

Utilize social media to reach potential ticket buyers who you may not normally be able to reach. Be the example by creating a band on social media that coveys your product or service as being strong, professional and influential. Also, be sure to build relationships with organizations you believe your followers will also enjoy and deploy a co-created product or service into the industry.

Influencers:

Identifying key influencers can be quite a task. Think about who in your industry has a following and a platform that would reach your largest demographic target audience. For instance, you played Parasite at your theater the past few weeks. Reach out to the PR for local celebrities and see about setting up a collaboration that could be beneficial for both parties involved.

When it comes to collaborations, the possibilities are endless. If you have any questions about adopting collaborations into our marketing strategy please reach out to Marketing@agiletix.com We would love to help!

GIFs – The Future of Millennial Marketing

GIFs are a great way to start conversations and maybe the secret to millennial marketing that we all have been searching for. An added value to your business and an interactive way to grasp the attention of your target audience. Could this be the future of marketing?

Do you GIF?

GIF is an acronym for Graphics Interchange Formal. Originally embraced the internet over 30 years ago and is still relevant today. According to Twitter, people share more than 500 million GIFs in 2018. Why do GIFs hold so much value, you may ask? GIFs convey context and emotion in a way that is incredibly easy for viewers to relate to. The secret to successful social media management is on the basis of being relatable. You gain more followers by being relateable, funny and entertaining. Are you hearing us yet?

What we’ve learned…

While in Utah at the annual Art House Convergence we had the chance to attend a presentation by Wesley Emblidge. Enblidge is the Marketing & Education Coordinator at Coolidge Corner Theatre (who happens to be one of our amazing clients 🙌). In his presentation, “Tutorial: How to Make Your Own GIFs (and Why You Should!)” Emblidge stated that ” in the past 5–10 years have Gifs become a massive part of the way people communicate online”.

He went on to talk about the power of using GIFs in your social strategy. This verticle of content happens to be one of the best ways to capture the attention of your audience. By using a trending GIF your organization is more likely to gain impressions and even better – engagement! So when planning your next social media post, why not spice it up a little bit? Throw in a GIF, the possibilities are endless.

Where Can I Find GIFs or even better… Make My Own GIF?

Gifs are fun and act as an easy way for you to promote a vertical of your organization. There are plenty of websites that we get our gifs from, such as GIPHY.COM. Giphy makes it easy to find the right GIF for you. The site even allows you to make your own. It’s simple and easy to use!
