Tips and Guidelines on Reopening Your Organization to the Public
Novel Coronavirus has made a huge impact on many organizations across the United States, especially in the theater industry forcing many theaters to close. Agile Ticketing Solutions’ marketing team is here for your organization every step of the way including during closures and the very anticipated reopening. Keep reading for tips and guidelines on reopening your organization to the public.
When reopening your organization, one important action that your theater may want to consider is limiting the number of tickets sold per showing, to allow space between each party. Many theaters are looking at selling around 50-percent of their total capacity. Not only will this make the experience safer for your patrons, but there will likely be government restrictions in place that will make this mandatory. If possible, your theater may allow families the option to sit together, while giving and give others the opportunity to choose to distance from other people. Between each movie playing, you will want to enforce a strict cleaning policy. It is also not a bad idea to have hand sanitizer stations installed around your theater in convenient locations and make hourly sanitation required by staff. If you need hand sanitizer, MedTech Wristbands started making some themselves—to order, click the “sanitizer” link in the resources below.
Another way to keep both your agents and patrons safe and happy is to require staff to wear masks and gloves and install plexiglass. Think about getting remote credit card swipes to add to the POS systems so your staff doesn’t have to handle credit cards. Consider allowing online purchases for tickets and even concessions, to encourage contactless purchases. Adapt things such as contactless payment options via Apple Pay or Virtual Wallet.
While the theater experience may have altered slightly due to the health crisis, this doesn’t mean that you can’t celebrate your organization’s reopening. Send out an email blast to all your patrons, members, and supporters. Post your reopen date all over social media. Just as you would for a grand opening, create hype over the celebration of reopening and don’t be afraid to share that excitement with your patrons.
Since many new releases are being pushed back, some even into fall, now is the time for your theater to offer older movies that will draw people into your theater. Host a poll on Instagram asking patrons what their favorite movies are. Play a this-or-that themed game to get a better understanding of what your patrons are interested in. Post a reopening photo on your feed and encourage patrons to comment below their favorite movies. Throw a special themed event for classic movies such as Star Wars or Harry Potter and encourage patrons to dress up as their favorite characters and serve movie themed styled concessions ( Butterbeer is always a great idea for a Harry-Potter-themed event). All these ideas are great to incorporate to your reopening strategy.

Tips on Working Remotely and Keeping the Company Connected
During this pandemic, many organizations have no choice but to work remotely for the time being. While working remotely may not seem as productive as working together in person, it does not have to be that way. There are many ways to utilize the remote strategy in order to be very productive and keep your organization connected. Here are our tips on working at home and keeping your organization as connected as possible.
Have a Routine
The first of our working at home tips is to stick with a specific routine. We recommend having daily company meetings through a video communication software, even if just a brief update with each other. While communicating is easy through email and messaging, having a meeting through video gives a face-to-face interaction that will help your organization stay connected in a more personal way. Along with a daily meeting, we recommend keeping to a similar schedule to how you operate in normal circumstances. This will give you a sense of normalcy, and help you push through the unusual circumstances.
Utilize Shared Documents
Another suggestion is to utilize shared documents that can allow multiple workers to look at and edit at once. It can be complicated to keep track of what projects each individual is working on in your organization. It can also be a hassle to get things sent to each other in a timely and coordinated manner. A great way to fix this is to use shared documents, which can be done through websites such as Office365 and Google Drive. This allows everyone to know the current updated document and see who is currently making edits.
Lastly, it is very important to be as transparent as possible with other members of your organization in your day-to-day activates. Working remotely can be successful, but a drawback is the decreased amount of in-person collaboration that can be done. Therefore, you should clearly define what each member needs to be working on. If everybody is aware of and understands their assigned responsibilities, it will be easier to get work done more smoothly. At the same time, remember to always communicate with each other to make sure everybody is on the same page.
The Importance of Keeping in Contact with your Patrons
The Importance of Keeping in Contact with your Patrons The COVID-19 pandemic (Novel Coronavirus) has affected many organizations around the globe and has temporarily changed the way organizations operate. With the changing circumstances, it is as important as ever to keep in contact with your patrons. You should be making sure they are doing well during this time and understand the value of their support. Below are some of our tips on how to keep in contact with and maintain satisfaction with your patrons.
Update Through Social Media
First, make sure that you consistently update your patrons through social media. Your patrons understand that this pandemic has affected your organization for the time being. However, they will want to know any new information that you can provide to them. If you have any updates on how your organization is getting by, share that information and remain positive. Radiating positivity during a time of uncertainty is important because it is something your patrons will reflect on later. This information will help your patrons understand your current position. It will also give them some relief knowing that you are working hard to keep them satisfied.
Update Through Emails
Correspondingly, it is important for your organization to update your patrons through emails. You do not have to update emails as often as social media. However, it is a good idea to send mass emails to your patrons once in a while, including all the information on company updates as you can include. This will increase the awareness of your company’s current position and will deliver that information to as many of your patrons as possible.
Respond Individually to Patrons
Lastly, make sure to consistently monitor any messages you receive from your patrons and respond in a timely manner. While updating your social media and sending emails will help with answering many questions your patrons may have, there are a lot of individual questions that cannotbe answered through those means. Many patrons will have unique questions for your organizations, and they will likely reach out to you, either through direct messages, emails, or other ways through customer service. To keep every patron informed and satisfied, monitor these messages as closely as possible and try to respond in a timely manner.
